very cool sea anemone site

Well, just now noticed this thread discussing my website...

And this is correct - although widely known as Heteractis, the correct name for this anemone is Radianthus magnifica, not Heteractis.

That is not completley correct either,, It used to be named radianthus Ritteri and its name was more recently changed to Heteractis Magnifica. Both names are still considered correct.. this is documented in several books:rollface:

Wrong. Sorry.

As alluded to, it was formerly known as radianthus ritteri. This name is now obsolete and h. magnifica is the name
