Very Elegant Elegance

I'd say it's about time. Almost every elegance thread on this board winds up with somebody saying 'you're screwed', without offering any real advice.

Take your time, and post whatever your theories are. I am sure several people out here would be happy to try and duplicate your efforts for the good of the rest.

I agree, we have to start somewhere, and at least people can try your theories. Like you say, people will have to understand your still experimenting, but im sure more will be greatfull, especially if it saves their corals.

Just let us know if you do start a thread so we can follow. :)

ideas on treatment can do no other harm than to perhaps give a little bit of hope. At least it gives everyone an opportunity to act rather than just watch their precious coral waste away....

I agree very much...

Ok. I started a thread in the LPS forum. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what your thaughts are after reading it. It is titled Elegance coral theory. I had to type it in Microsoft Works because I was having trouble with my ISP.

Has anyone noticed how only the pink tipped ones seem to be surviving in captivity (minus the australian ones)? I assume they are all the same species, but the only frags or long-lived captive specimens seem to be of that variety.

Update picture of mine: seems happy, I've noticed that when it's hungry or want's food it's very sticky and some other times not at all food just flows around it. I've been feeding it once a week.
