Very happy with my 6105's

I noticed you said would not, not can not is there pros's and con's to this or will it harm the motor in some way or is there other reasons? Always curious can you elaborate.

Using 24V and the bigger prop would use more power and this could burn out the motor. The 6105 has a heavier duty coil, it has a thicker winding with thicker lacquer coating on the windings than the 6101 and uses less power to begin with so it has more to spare than the 6101. Even on the 6105 I would not recommend the 45mm prop and 24V.

Your the Man, Now I understand even though It's tempting just to see the difference in flow. Thanks for the reply, Just sittin watin on my 96 to come in.

peder, please read the entire post, it is a temporary fix. We are changing to a bigger propeller and 18V jumper, with this solution the flow is the same and the pump is quiet. Right now you have a 42mm prop spinning at about 3900rpm, we are changing to a 45mm prop spinning at 3100rpm, flow is the same. It will take a couple weeks to get the parts to do this so for now if you cannot wait, use the 15V jumper. All you will have to do is send an email to the factory and when the parts arrive they will send them.

I have read the post!! im using the 15v jumper right now!!! and it's still noisy.

I am sorry, there is nothing I can do as you are in Denmark, but if you call the factory and talk to Mr. Michele I am sure he can find a solution.

mine are louder then the vortecs they replaced. I had 6101's before and they were dead silent. I guess with the need to have the highest flow numbers noise comes with the deal. If I would have known the noise level I would not have switched to 6105's. But I assumed the were tunzes and quiet. The only solution is Tunze realizes the speed is too great for the motors and have a reduced voltage and bigger prop but its not available.
So it's hurry up and wait. mine have been noisy since december.

We are working on it as fast as we can. I am sorry this was not anticipated and did show up in our beta testing.
