I know only that they changed place since I stuck them on the rock (like a anemone) The salesman did not know the name but knew that it was in the family of zoo ?????:spin2:

they changed places because they are anemones and not zoas.
they will give a good sting to other corals and multiply fairly quickly.
when I managed the local salt shop, we got two rocks of them in as filler peices on an order an they quickly jumped off the rocks they came in on and totally took over a 20 gallon long in short order.

i've heard them called flower anemone or tulip anemone? maybe idk for sure tho.

you might wanna stay away from that LFS if they don't know the difference between a zoa and anemone.
