Looks fatter than mine. Luckily mine just started to gain some weight... I was starting to get a little worried.

They're hungry little buggers and should eat pretty much everything you throw in there. I would recommend feeding more often (4X a day) if you haven't already.

He eats flakes especially spirulina but not fond of pellets.

My food mixture is,in the morning,red plankton,fish eggs and lobstereggs,i give this too keep them busy true the day when we are working,furthermore they get a lot of krill,shrimp and mysis,also special angel food from Ocean nutrition and a mix of dry food:lmao:
I must keep them happy otherwise they start too search the tank for some food(corals:lol2
The smallest personifer already has his stripe(in the pic he is just turning his tail)he is now around 3 inch,the bigger one is going too 4 inch.
There is no agressive behavior between them or the other angels.
Today i took a pic from the smallest one whit all the lights on.

I just wanted to share some pictures of the black stripe forming that others can look forward to seeing. Buying a small specimen you never know what you're getting but as John (copps) said: "you cannot tell the difference when small so you need to trust the vendor... and you could trust Kevin Kohen at LA!".
This is the 3.25" pic posted on 11/29 when I placed the order (this specimen was listed on DD for at least 2 weeks that I can remember) and was received on 12/1
after being released on 12/6 from a container that was used to socially acclimate this new fish
12/11 you can start to see a very thin stripe
12/13 more apparent

flame thanks for these awesome pics man!!! I admit i was a bit worried that no sign of the stripe set in yet but seeing this has given me new hope lol!!! im sure these were all collected together and since theyre within half inch of each other i guess it should start appearing soon. thx again!

Just my luck... AMX out going to DD and poof gone. Idk who bought it. I'll just have to wait for another.
Blueline nice! I'll keep my eye open. I was told this was going to be a very good year for rare fish. So were all in luck!

I received the 2.5" from LA DD on 1/4 and on 1/25 the stripe started to show. This one took 21 days for the stripe to show whereas the 3.25" specimen (see above post) only took 11 days to show.

after being released and doing well holding her own--taken on 1/20
after 21 days finally can see a faint stripe forming--taken on 1/25
