Very Unusual Fish, Not much on the web about it

Does anyone have any experience with this fish. It is a snake blenny. I did the usual web search but not much is a available. Has anyone cared for this animal?

Interesting fish. Looks like Xiphasia setifer.

Based on what scant info there is on it I'd say treat it like a garden eel. Looks like it needs to burrow in deep soft sediment.

I have seen it in the wild, it does, indeed bury itself in soft sediment. I may or may not form a burrow, that I could not tell. Hard to photograph!

that's a really cool blenny, never seen one in any of my local fish store, and i go to about 8 or 10 in my area different ones. i really like that neon shimmer effect.

Saw that for sale on ARC. That is a really great store to get nice healthy fish from. So are you thinking about getting it?
