Vetralis anthias

I purchased a ventralis anthias today at a great sale. But while acclimating the bag slid and out it came and immediately brushed my large blue gig and is hiding in the rockwork. I'm hoping it acclimated enough and isn't just expensive hermit food :headwalls:

What is a great price? A trio near me goes for 275, they are however the best looking anthias out there I think. Good luck with it and hopefully you can find two more females.

Well I found out a few things about this fish that the lfs didn't know. They like cooler water and low lights... Well no wonder. I'm gonna keep my tank
At 77 tonight and then 76. It's a gig tank so I can't lower either temp or lighting much. But I bought tigger pods and nutramar ova to induce eating and draw it out when the halides turns off. There is lots of cave to chill in while it acclimating. It's easily the prettiest fish Ive ever owned it would be nice to see it:-P

Well look who showed up to the party!! Five days later after the acclimation accident it is now swimming freely and interacting well with the other fish. I bought a female but you can already see that it is changing to a male.
