ViaAqua Poly-Reactor or Phosban Reactor

Can you help me, I have a phosban reactor and it works but the fittings feel kind of loose and a little scary but I am looking for a second unit anyway.

is the ViaAqua Poly-Reactor built better and easier to remove the top for changing media without spilling water everything?

also do you have the height specification of the viaAqua unit?

Hi Strategic Reef,

The Poly- Reactor is an all in one unit and that's why most customers go with it. It comes with a pump and all the plumbing required to get you going. It has a tighter fitting top and the plumbing connections are pretty direct. So if that's what you're looking for the Poly Reactor is the way to go. One downfall is that it's smaller than the Phosban unit. The More compact design fits less media.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.

The bracket slides along the length of the tube. It would normally be just below the top of the tube if you had it hanging. You could use some tape or a spacer to lower it if you needed to. I have mine sitting on top of my top off water container and slid the clip down 2 inches to hook onto my sump so it does not fall off some how. I hope this helps.

That is a tough question to answer. I assume you mean which reactor of those available. It really depends on your needs. The ViaAqua Poly-Reactor is very compact and comes with a pump, it may not hold enough media for your needs. The Aqua C reactor is the largest one we carry. The Two Little Fishies and Kent Marine are in between these two. None of these come with a pump except the ViaAqua.
