Question, have you noticed any negative effects on corals or nems following dosing?

I added my first dose last night, my s. Gigantea showed no change but my golden torch closed up minutes after the dose.

The change that I noticed sense doing the first dose is that Euphilias are not opening up to the full extent and RBTA is not sprawling everywhere. SPS are unaffected completely. I have a couple of issues that might be too blame though. I overdosed dosed Aquavitro Ions (magnesium + trace) and had to switch from dosing my usual fusion 1 to Aquavitro calcification, which contains citric acid. I also had a frag of zoas fall off the rock and was carried away by a goby, which presumably means palyotoxin got released in the water.

I believe I see some improvement in the brown algae covering the top of the rocks so I added one more 15ml dose last night. I am running carbon and replaced the GFO. Skimmer seems to be pulling much more crud then previously.

I don't have any nems, but can't say I've noticed any negative effects on my corals at all so far.
I've not noticed any negative effects on my BTAs or corals. My one euphyllia frag is look better then ever. I about lost it due to an ATO overdose while I was away for 2 weeks about a year ago now. It's one of a few surviving corals from that event and for a while I didn't think it would make it. Looked near death most of this year.

This wasn't last night but the night before after cleaning the glass I think. Made the water hazy for a bit.

I noticed these eraser sized blotches all over front of tank , is this related to the treatment?

Day 10 3x doses @ 60ml total

Will dose the 4th 20ml dose tonight

Seems like a small amount of progress again tonight. Had a lot of film algae on the glass tonight and cleaned it again.

And I can't find that pm again so to reply to the original request.

No I have not found any kind of film forming on the top of the water with rodi in it and 5ml vibrant added.

Day 11 4x doses @ 80ml total

Daily glass cleaning continues. Algae above pump still looking good.

Cyano is still pushing back

Sort of by request but taking the request a step further

I didn't get near enough time to go through all those like I wanted. I just ran out of time each night. But it was cool to see what I saw all the same and will share some of it. Wish I had the time but my eyes kept shutting on me each night.

There was a marked difference in bacterial counts though between those samples that had the extra overdose of the 5ml of vibrant added vs those that didn't get it.

I did try and see what I could at 4 hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours.
4hrs after adding vibrant I didn't notice much of a difference between tank water, tank water w/ 5ml vibrant added, and rodi w/ 5ml vibrant added.

Some photos

At 24 hours I could start to see a difference between the sample with 5ml Vibrant added vs the one with out.

Tank water 24 hours later no extra vibrant added looked normal and normal amounts of bacteria moving around. Algae still looking pretty good. Some dead but there was some at 4 hours too.

at 24hours with 5ml of Vibrant added seemed to have markedly more bacteria and the algae seemed less healthy if that makes sense. Still plenty of other life moving around.

This was a cool video. Seeing the algae cells moved around and an expansion of something at the beginning

looks like you have to click on this picture to bring up the video

NOW at 48 hours the difference between with and with out 5ml Vibrant was drastic. It was most impressive how much bacteria was in the sample with 5ml of Vibrant added. Keep in mind that would be a massive amount if scaled up to a full size tank. It's like a 2.5oz cup with 5ml of Vibrant added...

48 hours tank water sample
Healthy algae still looks healthy. Nice amount of life moving around still. Pods etc.

With 5ml of Vibrant added @ 48 hours there was not a spot that I could not find a lot of bacteria at every focal level when using a higher power lens

here's a video but the video can't record as high of a resolution as I'd like and doesn't show as well the crazy amount of bacteria that was visible while watching

but it still shows a lot. Will have to click on them to see the video.
