My pump broke and my display refugium has been disconnected from my display reef and sump. I put in a powerhead and a heater, week or so later and check it out! Thought these little buggers were hydroids until they kept getting bigger, and bigger, and finally I saw one swimming around!

I just saw them swimming this morning, so I turned off my powerhead and I'll be hooking up some airstones instead for circulation, as well as do a water change.

I very recently seeded this tank with live sand from Florida, it's the only way they could have gotten in there. Anyone dare to ID them?

They'll kill themselves in filters eventually. It's amazing how they even survive the life rock shipment.

I had some of those for a little while, but they didn't last very long. Filter (and possibly fish) got to them. Fun to watch while they lasted, though. Blip blip blip!
