Roger, Reefer714 asked me to post this for him. It's 2 waveboxes and 2x6200 on a 240 gallon cube. Works pretty well I must say. haha

I want a wavebox so bad but I have AGA 180, will it splash water out of the tank?

That is IMPOSSIBLE, i used ran wavebox and 1x6100 in my 150gal tank and i never have any problem with water splashing out the tank.

My friend Tom has wavebox and 4x6100 in his 180g, he never has any problem with it either.

My bubby (Yinger) he has wavebox and 1x6000 in his 120g it work fine.

I think your water level in the tank is too high. If you lower your durso a little bit to bring down the water lever in your tank. You should be fine. Wavebox is an awesome piece of equipment. You corals will love the wave.

I'm not having a problem with it splashing water out of the tank, I just wanted to make sure it would not.I will most likely have 4 x 6100, 2x6055 nano streams behind the rock rock, and a wavebox on the 180.

Now i think you are overkill. You can go with either Wavebox with 2x6100 or 4x6100 without wavebox. Each 6100 flow 24" wide so you do not need tunze 6055 to flow in the back of your tank, unless your aquascape really tight where flow can't get in between. As you can see my aquascape in 48x48x24, i can get away with 2x6200 without any dead spot.

can you run just the center unit on a 75 gallon or should i look at different options?, my main concern is the there being a negative efffect on my hob overflow

sorry i thought it went on the middle of the tank, i know now it goes on the side but, can the waves have a negative effect on water getting into the overflow box that hangs on the back of my tank

The wave will effect the water getting into the overflow box. If you raise the water level up higher or lower your HOB overflow box, you should be fine. But IMO it is still very risky
