What kind of equipment do you have?
BTW....Nice tank..

thanks,as far as equipment goes it is very simple. Tek Light 8x54W with ATI bulbs,Vertex IN-180 skimmer,TLF 550 reactor with NP bio pellets mixed with WM Eco-back bio pellets, bag of GAC in sump,Eheim 1262 pump for returns and 4 Koralias for flow(waiting for tax return to upgrade to 2 Vortsch MP 40).You can see pictures in my build thread:http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1872242

I change my bulbs every 6 months.

Wow, every 6 months?! I change mine every 12 months, haven't noticed any difference in the last 6 months that would make me want to go out and buy 8 bulbs.
I have almost the same combination of bulbs without the Giesseman midday. The color between the two tanks are totally different though, mine is much bluer, towards a 15K while yours looks to be 10K.

Yeah, the Giesseman bulb make it more of 10K look when it is on,otherwise in the morning and evening tank looks more blue .I do change bulbs every 6 months because I don't want them to lose to much PAR and spectrum. You will not see much difference in your bulbs with your eyes when they get older, but believe me corals feel the difference, also with 6 months change I don't have to acclimate my corals to new bulbs,as it is the case with older bulbs changed for new.If you go to my build thread you will see progression pictures of my tank on page 6,see the difference in coral growth, that is why I keep my bulbs schedule the way it is.

Here's mine, I still can't believe the difference in color that one bulb can make. Is the Giessman bulb more like the GE 6500?
