Video of my 300G

Thanks, I downloaded the second one earlier and it was worth the 5 hour 20 minute wait (dial-up). Awesome tank. It looks like you have a ton of current. So you think the fish like it?

Glad you liked it! Yes the fish love the current in the tank.

Tank is 300g dual pane Starphire. Built in wall room divider to separate the living room and dining room.

Sump and all pumps in basement. Running 2 CL. One with a Seq Hammerhead outputting to a OM 4-way with all 1.5" outputs. Second CL is a Gen-X PCX-55Hp pump driving 2 penductors. Return pump is a Gen-X PCX-40 in basement with 1.5" pipping. Sump is 75g with YES A WET DRY for added filtration. Skimmer is a 42.5" tall 8" dia dual Beckett driving the beast are 2 Gen-X PCX40's one for each injector. I run a 40w UV with a very slow flow rate around 400g/hr. I run a ozone gen 250mg/hr I keep the ORP within 380-415mv. For lighting I run 3 250W 14K coralVue pendents and bulbs. IceCap 660 ballast driving 4 48" URI actinic plus VHO's. I do 50g water changes every 2-4 Weeks. Dose with kalk and add mg and Ca. Tank is one year old this month.

Do you like not having sand? I thought about taking mine out so I could increase the water flow. I think it would make maintenance much easier. The sand collects tons of crud.

Yes I will never have sand in a tank ever again. You see just how much stuff builds up when you siphon out the tank every 2weeks from the stuff that does not get carried to the sump. The great thing about the Starboard is whatever detritus does not get swept up by the flow in the tank . The sides between the glass and the Starboard traps it and it is out of sight, Just a quick siphon and its gone.

Well i broke down and re auqascaped my tank. I have many big fish in the tank.I found that the way I had my rock stacked in the center of the tank was taking up to much room. Have lots of swimming room now! Very pleased with the outcome. I added 3 new fish to the tank. A unicorn tang, M Angel, and another perc. I was very lucky in adding the other perc to the tank. He took to the other right away. Both are happy in the Anemone.

Looks like the emperor is the king of the tank! I love those fish. I don't know why but I kinda chuckled when I saw the chromis. You have all these big fish and here come these little green guys.

how long have you had the achilles?

Forgot to ask, Where do all of those guys sleep? I don't think I have ever seen so many big fish in my life!
