Awesome Brad ... now I know why you are providing very few updates to your Nano tank.
Did you basically break it down and move everything to the new tank? Is the new tank in the same space as the old?
Awesome thread! Thanks for the great pictures!
I love your setup, a lot of great ideas! I hope you don't mind I am going to probably be asking some questions if they havent already been answered when I start my rimless build thank you for sharing this wonderful tank with everyone!:bounce1:
Been awhile since you updated man...whats goin on?
Urbaneks - how about an October update on your awesome tank?
I followed along on NR and your Jbj 28. That was an amazing looking tank.
This surpasses that infinitely. Your attention to detail on all aspects of the build is amazing. I wish I could get my cords and equipment to look so neat. But I fail bad when
it comes to that. Your explanations and step by step information from the start are top notch. I cant wait to see what becomes of this tank. I see there hasnt been an update in quite some time. I hope all is ok with you and you are just giving things time to grow before updating again. I know I and many others are looking forward to the updates. Cant wait to see some of the photographs from this tank. The ones from the NC 28 were amazing. I need to learn how to use my camera better.

+1
Extremely clean build out, I wish I had the time to make mine look that clean, but with a 5 y/o and a 16 m/o I barely have time to feed and maintain!
However, your look is my goal for my "ultimate build" some day, albiet on a bigger 400 gal scale. One can dream....and I'll certainly use your thread for inspiration and design. Simply perfect, gorgeous, and elegant!
Subscribed and looking forward to the next update. I hope all is OK!
Zac
I am only on page 2!!!! I like the journal.. How is the rolling sump and ato resivor working?
Very detailed. Tank you for all the tips
I would love to see some more pictures. Hope your tanks doing good.
Just read the entire thread and I must say amazing! Can't wait for more updates.
This tank still going? It's been over 5-mo since the last update![]()
Stunning tank, amazing attention to every detail.
This looks superb! Love the clean look of the tank and the scaping. The torch looks amazing and I bet adds a much needed dynamic otherwise missing from most SPS only tanks. Look forward to seeing this mature.
Yes, beautiful. You really know what you are doing!
i had that light once, great results too i miss it
what gravel you using? looks great
Glad to see the update. Long overdo but its impressive nonetheless! I was concerned that you had some bad luck of some kind but knew it wasnt lack of interest. You are a reefer and that means that we are never without a tank whether thats in reality or imagination. Glad its still a reality for you as it helps this community to have you posting. Just cant say enough about your detail whether its small or large, you just seem to nail it down with military precision(I know thats in your background). Hope youll be posting more now that youre back!
Oh and I too am an ex nanoreefer.
looking good man, really glad to see the update...
Schedule looks really nice, and a good way to actually track the time you spend in case of significant other disagreements.
Are you tracking your parameters as well? just curious as it could be a cool graph that easy to make with the excel spreadsheet you already made.
Love the encrusting monti's you have, i got a frag of the Jason Fox Violet Orange monti (rediculously bright and kinda like mystic sunset but seriously it glows) and thought you might want to take a look at it..not the cheapest but a VERY nice coral ill try to get a pic of mine and pm ya...
otherwise keep the pics coming love your tank....just makes me want to finish my upgrade even more (taking me tooo long)
Man, looking at your tank (and even this thread) one can see the dedication you have towards your tank and this hobby.
Reading through the thread, looking at the coral photos, looking at the placement of the rocks; it all tells me that you took great effort in the whole process of setting this tank up and it shows. Looks amazing.
With time, growth and colouring up of corals I'd be surprised if this didnt turn out to be an amazing bit of a reef.
Since I am in the mood of providing a critique in a way, I hope you dont mind me saying that the only area I would look to improve is the photography slightly - its very good, dont get me wrong, in fact the composition is perfect!
Where I would want to see improvement is perhaps some of the white balance and also to increase the brightness. The two may be related; perhaps up the ISO slightly or use a longer shutter speed if possible. I hope you dont tell me off for the critique - :hammer:
