Vinegar Dosing 90g

I am about a month into Vinegar dosing my 90g. I calculated my TWV to be about 100g and am currently dosing 30 ml of vinegar daily, split into 2 bolus dosings. I run GFO as well. My NO3 is about 40 ppm...tanks is full LPS/softies.

I was wondering how long this takes to see a drop, for any of you with similar tanks in similar situations. Additionally...would love to know the peak amount in ml you are dosing vinegar. Worried about PH fluctuations too as I get near the higher dosage.

It can take several weeks to months. However I had better results when I started dosing Microbacter 7 per the directions for high nutrient tanks. It can help to build a good suply of different bacteria. I have a 55g and I started with 2ml a day and increased every few days for a week then started adding 2ml a week my nitrates finally hit 0 when I hit about 40ml a day. Now I am down to about 16ml a day and they have been o for months. I posted a link below as a refernece to what I used. The only difference was the Microbacter 7. Hope this helps. Also make sure you have a good skimmer

Thanks - I will start using MB7. Curious - how high were your nitrates?

At the beginning when i wanted to go from a FOWLR to a Reef my trates were 160ppm when i ran a test looked like i had giving blood! Lol! I did massive water changes got trates down to 20ppm then started Vodka dosing. After awhile i stopped. My nitrates creeped back to about 10-15ppm so i got a 1.1mL dosing pump from BRS and a timer, started vinegar dosing. Now when i run a nitrate test i get a pretty blue indicating 0
