Visiting from AZ next week, recommends please

Hey, I'm local in AZ, But the family and I will be in Wisconsin next week. I'de like some ideas for visiting local reefing stores and the like as well as a yeah or nay on the John Shedd aquarium in Chicago. We're thinking of making the drive, Is it worth it? I'de also like to take a "life support" tour of equipment and such , any idea if they will allow such a thing to happen ?

on thrusday nights we have the MARC meeting ..

theres a few good local fish stores around ..
the sheed is a good place to go worth the trip

I asked the same thing awhile ago. I think it is some sort of secret society that Jeffgp s trying to setup. He believes in new methodologies and is trying to do reef tanks a whole new way. I know a few of his methods are filling his tank with as many fish possible, trying to keep your Po3 and No3 as high as you can, and doing water changes with the flip of the kitchen faucet.

We went down to Il yesterday and they didn't seemed to have much for sps corals. Sharky's have a ton of LPS. I ended up buying a lemon peel angel at coral corner.

I got 2 purple anthias, a derasa clam, and a royal gramma at Coral Corner yesterday.... very nice.
