I am new to Texas and have been in the hobby for years. Visiting the Dallas Aquarium and seeing the "Reef" tanks brought concern. Is/are there anyone that helps them with their animals? I inquired to the staff and no one seemed to know or even know of who would know. The corals looked stressed and several of them were either receding or sloughing. It was upsetting to see a tank that I would remove a bedroom to have, just not getting the best care it could.
I have been to and had a good relationship with the National Aquarium at Baltimore Maryland. The staff were on top of things and were open to help/be helped by all of the local aquarium societies that were willing. Just running this by anyone in the area.
