Vitamin C order

I am going to place an order for a few containers of Vitamin C to dose in my tank.

ill take a bottle...I am amost out of that Marine C and this stuff is same price and would last hell of alot longer.

Also what are you using to make the measurements for the dosing. Anything you recommend. a scale, or some type of measureing cup for mg

On second thought, seems like too much damn work without a lot of gain haha. After reading through the thread, it appears that dripping VC is ineffective, and that it needs to be added manually every few days.

It is actually supposed to be added manually daily or twice a day.

I want to try this in conjunction with vodka dosing. I have a couple zoas that are just growing sooooo sloooowly. I also want to see if it affects the colors.

i can definitely do that cause i always wanted to see if it works. i was having problems with zoas about a month ago and went on vacation for a week and they did a complete 180. they aren't as full as i would like but are getting there. i hope this will give them an extra edge.

I have been using that Marine C vitamin C for a while now and it seems to have helped..My palys open larger then they use to. seem to have more color, better polyp extension as well.
I have also been dosing vodka for the past 2weeks. I have noticed that I am getting a little of the green cyno that alot of others have experianced with that..so I am going to cut the vodka back 50% like they say and see how that goes.

How long would a bottle last dosing in a 100g system?

I guess depends on the dose you wanna use.
for 100g you would have at 5ppm
1893mg per dose
10ppm is double so 3786mg so i guess have to find out how much is in the bottle to determine that

1 bottle is 16oz so thats roughly 453,584mg in the bottle.

That will help. I just wanted to know for minimal dosing. I am dosing vodka also so I want to start slow.

With the minimal dose It would last me almost 8 months. Honestly, I will probably start at less than the minimal and work my way up. I am going to re-read the vit c thread before I do anything.

TJ, have you been dosing Vit C in your tanks for a while? The RPE's don't look quite the same, so if this would do some good, then I may just try it this time around.

Nope, I never dosed Vitamin C. I'm just going to pick up a bottle for future use. I'm not planning on really doing anything just yet since my new tank is still so young.

They were in that sumpless frag system for quite a few months... hopefully they are just adjusting.
