Vortech Module pricing released

We are pleased to announce the pricing of the Ecotech module for the profiLux 3 controllers.

The MAP price will be $149USD

Pre order discounts.

We will be offering ALL dealers the opportunity to provide you with pre orders of this module. How the dealers wish to run this will be up to them and also on a first come first served basis from us as initial supply will be linited.

The discount will be 10% off the MAP price.

Pre orders will start to be taken as of Monday 19th July.

Shipping to clients will start 3rd week of August.

Pre orders end once the items land in the country and go onto full distribution.

ProfiLux 3 upgrade deals including the Ecotech module.

Anyone wishing to use the Ecotech module can only do so on the Profilux 3 and above, our wish is to get everyone upgraded to P3.

The price of the upgrade including the module is $475.00USD (please note the controller has to be upgraded by a GHL authorised service center)

I have a question that is pretty technical. Currently there is a known bug in the Vortech Ecosmart controller firmware. The time when the Ecosmart units enter night mode shifts each day, forcing one to reset it every few days. Will the new Profilux controller override this and allow us to set a steady time for the Vortechs to go into a reduced speed night mode? Hoping so, and can't wait for this product.

Ok here is the official word from GHL

The GHL vortech interface will OVER RIDE ALL Ecotech settings and control so you will have all the elements you now get with the GHL Tunze control. So IF there is any issue as you state above which i am not aware of personally, then this will be eliminated.

Going one step further GHL are also looking to see what additional options may (or may not be available) that can be expanded on for the Vortech control options. IF there are any these will come in future releases.

i personally do like the ecosmart mode...

it would be great if the profilux can put it in the native ecosmart mode and change modes/and or use tunze style at different times...

Did we ever get an announcement on how this controller will interface with the P3? Internal expansion slot? RS232? Need to figure out if I need to try to free up an expansion slot, mine are full.

As always the case USA dealers are slow to take up such things, but the good news is the Canadian side ship very cheaply when using standard services

The Ecotech module is small, so i do not see shipping being more than $15USD at the most.

In regards to USA dealers, with the economy picking up more are now stocking more popular items, names to watch are Fish and other itchy stuff, Aqua cave, Kent Pet supply, and Berkel marine.

I have 4 Vortech pumps and 5 Tunze pumps already hooked up on my system. Will one module control all 4 Vortech's or will I need 4 modules. The Vortechs are all wireless Ecosmart pumps, 2 are MP40 and 2 are MP10. I need a few other things when I place my order with AquaDigital. Thanks for your over the top support!

Will these modules require their own power cord or do they get power from the PAB?

The device is powered through PAB!

This means no cable mess as you can place the module anywhere in your PAB network map

At the weekend Matthias will make a product presentation which will (hopefully) clear all the questions with photo also
