vortech mp40 tornadoes

I just received my second mp40 and have them set up directly across from each other in wave mode.

I am now seeing some micro bubbles and little tornadoes underneath each mp40.

they are positioned around 14 inches from the bottom, 5 from top and set around half power.

Is this a problem? Do I have the speed to high? positioned too low? maybe not across from each other?

tank is 48 in wide 22 tall 19 deep.

They must be sucking air in from the surface. It sounds like you need to turn down the speed or lower the MP40s deeper in the tank.

Now that I have lowered the pumps i am thinking it is small sand that is being pulled up by the tornadoes lol
