Vortech Running HOt

I switched my vortech from reef crest mode to continuous and it is now really really hot on the back. Is this normal?

It will run quite hot the more you run it towards full blast.

Mine has been running in lagoon random mode and runs hot on the dry side as well, especially at higher speeds. ( Running at 100% BTW)

mine is the same way so i would expect that to be normal. I thought i might have a bad one, but that seems to be the case for most everyone ive heard from so far.

The higher the speed you run the hotter it it get. I run mine at a lower speed for less tear and wear
