once the ok singers are weeded out, and their fans pick people who are actually good, he will get his walking papers... it happens every year.

Daughtry should have won last year, but it's better that he didn't, this allow him to have his creative freedom, and why his album rocks, and why the song they leave to is his....

Dont sweat it Caleb. I didnt see anything in the rules that you couldnt advertise your entry. Besides, it was still our call on which photo to vote for. If anything, you made us aware that there is a photo contest. I never look at the stickies.

You should really go take a look at the moderator (Gregr's) response in the voting thread and perhaps change your requests a bit.

I'm gonna call BS on the photo contest... :mad2: Everyone is b!tchin over this and other threads trying to get votes yet one person (jeffbrig) who is also b!tchin over this thread is the only other person to get any serious votes. Gee I wonder how come? There are a lot of great pics to vote on, there is no way it should be this one sided unless there is other campaigning going on. That's right, both 17 and 27 are by taken by jeffbrig and yet everyone seems to be voting for just his two pictures... That is, other than us. Way to call the kettle black there bro. :rolleye1:

I don't listen to stern anymore since he went to sirius, but if he is the kingpin behind that show getting the heave....then GO HOWARD!!!

Okay, now that's a low blow. Were you standing in my living room when we took those pictures? I find it insulting that you would even make such an accusation. Christy is an excellent photographer in her own right, just because she doesn't post her photos as much as I do doesn't mean she doesn't take her own. Between the two of us, we probably own $4-5k worth of photography gear, to give you an idea of our participation in this hobby.

We each took about a hundred pictures of various things in our tank that night. I tend to prefer sps, while she likes the zoas, goniopora and such. Not surprisingly, our photo submissions reflect that.



Stepping away from that...

This dispute is getting a bit out of hand, and I will not participate in it going forward. I will suggest that the photography forum lays out a defined set of rules, so that future contests can be conducted on a level playing field.

I also intend to start threads in a few other RC forums. I will not be asking for votes for any specific picture, just asking people to look at the entires and choose their favorite. May the best photo win.

(why can't we all just get along )

nah with 30million viewers a week it's not going anywhere. the other networks don't even put anything up against it, ok well maybe dancing with the start results. That site has been around for a few years, and it's never really impacted the results. right not it's not really in Fox's best interest to get rid of him... think about it, everyone knows he sux, but not its a case of what will he do next? the longer he stays, the more free publicity the show gets..... He wont win, I doubt he will make the top 5.
