Wait to start medicating?

Hi Everyone,

I have a 20g quarantine with 2 clowns that i just got. Over the weekend, right after i added them, i had a big ammonia spike. I put them in another bucket, but they did go over night just with a 5x dose of prime, to about 3 ppm ammonia. They are acting fine now and eating. I have ammonia totally under control and it's 0 in the tank. What i'm wondering, is given their stressful weekend, should i wait a few days to start treating with cupramine and prazipro?

Remember that Prime and Copper do not mix.

Thanks Snorvich. I've done a 95% water change in the QT tank, and several more 25% changes. Do you think that'll get enough prime out?
