Hi,
The online wait list is a "notification service" only. When we update the stock it sends out emails to everyone signed up. Then it's first come first serve. So makes it tough sometimes to get it ordered fast enough.
With some of the other Tunze items, we did preorders so you could place the order and charge later, but we didn't expect Osmo's to be in short supply this time so we kept them a regular wait list.
We we sell out again we'll switch over to a preorder type system on that product too.

ok, i got my email!!! logged on to order, but thought i'd chat w/online help to see if i would get one because only 2 were shipped. he says they're gone and i have to preorder, and basically the list i was on is no good, here is text chat if interested.

I'm sorry for the problems we have sometimes ordering Tunze items. WE try to make it as ffair as possible. The original "wait list" you were on was the free no obligication stock list. It didn't put you in line, just sends out that email that it's back in stock. So soon as you got that would have to order real fast. WE had 5 units available when i updated that list today. WE sold all 5 online in less then 15 minutes. So by the time you checked with live help about it, some other people already beat you to the ordering.
After we sold through those 5, I immediately changed from a wait list out of stock item that you can't order, like what you were on, to a Pre-order item that lets you order and we just hold the order and ship and charge when it comes in. So then when you place an order as pre-order, you get put into our computer system and guaranteed a spot. RIght now we do not have any preorders for 3155, so if you ordered one now, you would get the next one Tunze ships us.
We generally do not like doing a preorder, takes a lot more to organize everything, but we hate to see these cases like you today where you were on a email list and just didn't have enough time to order, so preorder is about the only fair way to go when inventory is so low.
