Walt Smith live rock

On my quest to find live rock at a fairly reasonable price I happened uppon this ebay listing, FIJI LIVE ROCK WALT SMITH CURED LOW SHIPPING.

I can get 70 lbs for under $200 shipped. That's less than $3 a pound !!!!


So my question is has anyone bought from them, good stuff ?

contact them and find out if you can pick up local and i'm in 40 40 lbs...

It says in the auction no local pickup.

But like I said, when you factor in the shipping it's still cheep.

I have bought that rock locally from them. I wrote with an ebay question about local pick up. They sent me an email saying they would sell it to me for $3.19 per pound if I got over 50#. All I did was print up the email and brought it in! It works.

Yeah reef-n-fish what was the company you got it from? If I remember right pixiegirl did the same thing for thfishbowl printed out a sheet and took it with her for 3.19 a lb from them.

Just print out the ebay listing and if you 50lbs or more they let you hand pick it fo 3.19lb, I got it from Ocean Direct in longwood i guess they use to be called the fish bowl.
