Wandering H.Mag Deteriorating?

Hello Wise Reefers.

I posted in March about my anemone who was clearly suffering from insufficient lighting thread since the anemone has been doing alot better, eating varied diet of chopped fish, shrimp, mysis, he was really stretching out and loving the lighting, and then one day, approx 2-3 weeks back started wandering.

I know that Anemones do wander if they are unhappy with their position, so I didn't see it as a problem initially. I didn't change flow. The lighting (Radion G2) is sitting at 75% intensity.
I also added a temperature regulator which keeps the temperatures more stable (I aimed for what OrionN recommended at 26 deg C - my temps ranges from 25-26).

He has settled into a spot on the far left Top Corner of my tank. Probably more then a week now. Its a relatively shady area as its behind my internal Protein skimmer.

Im thinking the problem here is the lighting is too intense. Is that possible? See some pics. He looks to be deteriorating and he was doing so well. :(

Someone got an idea or XP with something like this?

Half his foot pedestal is like hovering on the top of the water?

It's not an easy one to peg.
Typically mags like light and perch high on rockwork and don't have wandering issues like other nem species.
It very much looks like it wants to be away from something.
You could tune down lighting or shade screen it and see what happens.
You need to list all params in numbers, time running and so on

H.mags primarily look for two environmental conditions to be present:

Good strong lighting

Good flow

If you've got those two things, generally you have a happy H.magnifica.

What changed between the time you thought the anemone was doing well and now?

What are your water parameters? Mine have only wandered in the past when nitrates were detectable in the water. Once the nitrates returned to undetectable they stop moving.
