Somebody gave me some southdown sand they had in their reef and the stuff is way too fine for me (too easy to stir up). I think it's about 70 pounds worth... enough to cover a 36x18" tank with 3-4 inches. If you don't know what southdown sand is - it's very fine grade calcium carbonate sand sold by hardware stores for kids' sandboxes and is thought to be very good for deep sand bed applications.
So, give me a shout out in the next couple days or I'm going to make a small beach behind the house with this stuff.
