While I agree that LED is the future, I still have yet to see a LED tank that impresses me. Does LED grow corals fast? Yes. But I don't think SPS colors up the same.

I am assuming you clicked the link above and your thinking halides would make my colors better? All I can say is I am not making an assumption. When I had my halides I had 4 actinic tubes over everything to get the colors to pop better. I don't have to do that anymore. Right now I know the colors are more vivid and pop more than they ever did when I had halides.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

dont know why everyone is on this led kick. Every tank ive seen with them look dull and drab.

I went back to MH from LED for now.. Might try them again

The full spectrum units are the new led thing: it does help make some colours show better. I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary for growth yet.

I dont care what they do with those junky leds...Nothing will ever replace the intensity, color and growth you get using halides. :bounce3:
