Want to buy spawning pair

Im looking for a spawning/ breeding pair of clownfish. I'm bored and want to try and raise soem clowns for fun. Looking for any type. I'd love a Picasso pair of some sort. Let me know what you have and what you would like for them. Also, if anyone has a large Picasso female I'd be interested. Thanks!

A spawning pair of clowns can range from 300 for your typical clowns to thousands for rare and designer clowns just as a heads up. Why not just get a pair and raise them to beeding yourself? As even if you buy a breeding pair there is no guarentee they will breed in your tank.

Shifty hit the nail on the head. The lowest I have seen was just under the 300 for Ocellaris & that was from a wholesaler.

Thx shifty- I'm aware of the cost. Although ocellaris I can find for 100-200 here and there and even average Picassso for 3-500. I have a few mature pairs and just want to try and get a jump start. Not a $$$ thing.... Just trying another part of the hobby. Think it'd be cool. I appreciate the info. Hopefully I can succeed after some trial and error.

I have premium snows that are mature/big/ and cleaning tile like crazy!! I'm just waiting on eggs. Snow onyx too!!! But nothing yet. All in time

Just a thought...I bought an Ocellaris about 7 months ago and a sm juvenile 2 months later cause she seemed lonely...they immediately took to each other n their size dif was pretty significant and the just spawned for the first time a month ago n again 3 days ago...u could try tht route n it's way cheaper

in the last 10 month I buy 2 breeding pair clownfish and pay lot and lot of money for it ANC now still haven't see 1 egg yet. I think it better to get a bonded pair for the cheaper price just my opinion

I have 4 difference pair right now 2 black ice bonded bonded, 1 Picasso pair laying eggs now and black/white also have small baby now. My first time actuall have baby clown not sure it will survive wish you luck it fun

I have premium ORA snowflakes that are actively laying/breeding. Female just spawned another batch today i watched it live. $850 shipped anywhere in the US overnight. Or local pick up 91206, Los Angeles CA.

Thanks all- I found a pair (2 actually) that I'm pondering but I may take the advice of others and allow the pairs I have to spawn. I have a pair that is constantly cleaning so I'll see.Thx everyone! Mods please close the thread
