Hi to everyone. I am in search of any and all hitch hiker crabs that nobody wants. I like the aggressive inverts that are not reef safe. I live in the chicagoland area. I have a 75 gal tank setup for them.

yeah alot of people are ignorant, saying " if they are hairy throw them out" wow just because its hairy doesnt mean you should give it a second look. my green emerald crab is a bit hairy

Yea Iknow what you mean. I had a very large stone crab ( his main shell was over 3.5" across). I have now a couple of gorilla crabs, peacock manis ( Ting The Mantis Warrior), and wennerae mantis. These crabs Will not be food for my mantis shrimp if that is what people are thinking.

Hey Rlf.
I notice one in my tank the other night. about 3/4" and orange with a white/tan stripe on body with tan/orange legs. Hair on legs and claws with the black tips. Try'n to get it out so i'll keep you in mind.

We got about 10in of snow as of 8:30 this morning. How about you?

Sorry I haven't been on the web last day or so. Sounds like a gorilla crab. They can be tricky to get out. There is some great threads here in RC to make homemade traps. give them a look if you have any problems. We got about 8" of snow all together this week. It was fun to drive in with a mustang.

We have the 10" here. 4X4 baby!

I'm going to try a shot glass first. Also I do have a little pest trap but wanted to try this first.
