Snapped a few pics today so I'm sharing one of my favorites. It shows my two largest colonies, Fire and Ice and Whamming Watermelon (I think). Anyways, hope you enjoy.
beautiful. I'd frag them and move them all over my tank. How big were they when you got them and how long have they been growing? I notice in my tank if I place zoos next to other zoos, they grow faster. Have you noticed this?
Not a 100% sure but I don't get wrapped up in the name game. Depends on the pic, angle, tank placement, etc... Those same zoa's (a frag) lower in my tank were crisp light blue with burnt orange/almost red tentacles.
Not sure why you're busting my balls though, I did add "(I think)" after my names and that wasn't a for sale thread where I was asking some insane price for a "rare" cool dude named zoa.
The top colony had about 1/2 the polyps as it does now when I got it and I have fragged off it 4 times. It's the Fire and Ice zoas I posted about before being my best grower. Been a real awesome zoa for me. Gave some to my friend who's running 175w MH 14k bulb and once it acclimated and he found a spot it liked it REALLY popped. The blue was more pronounced and the tentacles almost look alien they are such a burnt orange/red.
I've only had the bottom rock, whammin watermelon, for about a month but they are already spreading. I would guess it has added at least 10-15 polyps the month I've had it. It has at least as many polyps as you can see in the pic, that you can't see due to the angle of the picture.
