Tell me about it, i just did a huge order on supplies plus ran around the Chi today and picked up a bunch of mini colonies. . . think there's lint now in my wallet :p
 
matt what did you use for your pump on your JBJ top off? because on marinedepot it says pump not included, also how are you liking it ???


also what are you running in your reactor?
 
the halides are 250watt XM 10k bulbs and some purple pc.....the pump for the auto top off is just a maxi jet...i think i 400 or 600 maybe i have tons of them around the house lol....and running phosphate media....for got the name in my reactor and renew carbon in my sump...need a second reactor for that. posting pictures in like 5 mins
 
here is a shot...not the best...and please understand that the pvc is just there until i can build a canopy in a few weeks when my brother gets home to help me......the light is so bright lol it is lighting up the room so can't wait to block it out....but i am happy with it...just wish it was not such a yellow look....i am wondering if its the halides or the lack of pc lighting...the pc bulbs are 1.5 years old and are a purple shade not a true blue....i had 10k bulbs before and it was a nice clear color so i think i will try new PC bulbs before i switch to 12K mh bulbs.

well its much better now...switched out the PC bulbs and the 10k looks nice now...but it even looked nicer before i replaced them todday....really clean white look now....and so bright lol the corals look fuller i love it
 
Woot! looks great man, even with the ghetto pipes :p keep up the good work. i need to update mine as i just got a bunch of SPS. you see my new aquascaping? looks awesome IMO :D
 
yeah i know, been out of town a bit, and just sold my old light and had some problems shipping so trying to get that stuff settled...but the tank looks great seeing a nice amount of growth.

I will sorry...life has been crazy this last month...i sent a light and it got messed up in shipping so been trying to resolve that and been in FL for a few weeks...getting back to real life...as in working and school, but the take has been doing great nice growth...sadly no water change in over a month but every is good still doing one tonight or in the morning.
