i work in a fish shope and this guy came in and told me that if u net your clowns and then turn it over on top of what u want them to host with.then he said is should only take a few min to a hour for them to host with what ever it was u were trying. i think that it may work but what a pain in the ---- that would be to do.what do u all think

i dont know i was trying to say like he was telling me. i juess like if u took the clown and put him in a net then turn the net over on top of a anemone or coral. he says that it will make them host.i dont care if it works or not i have never had a issue wiht mine hosting. i was just curious

Thats kinda mean, but i guess it would work, as long as they got used to the anemone and didnt get stung, so it might.

i have to disagree with GSMguy because my perc clown will host any nem and she has never acclimated herself to the haddoni that i currently have. she had been without a new for a few months and i put the haddoni in and she dove right in...mind you this was a very healthy nem and was very sticky. she just seemed to roll around all over it and has ever since. i think its possible to place them in a nem but i would try something i saw in a previous thread about putting the nem and clowns in a basket at the top of the tank and just play the waiting game.

I'd just put them in the same tank and play the waiting game...less stressful on all involved.
