Saw one of these on DD anyone got experience with them, they seem pretty cool I read they are poisonous and they are reef safe with caution, do they eat hermits or something, do they eat coral or nems? Anyone knoq
They won't eat coral or nems although they might walk on coral which wouldn't hurt them. They will definitely try to (possibly successfully) eat any fish or shrimp that they can fit in their mouths.
Also they are not poisonous, i.e. if they die, they won't hurt the tank, but they have venomous spines which can give you a good sting. How bad it is depends on the species.

I had a little cockatoo wasp for a year or so, i used to feed him on glass shrimp and little nippers, theyre mouths are quite small compared to other scorps, id have another one no probs, can tell you if theyll eat fish or not as mine were in a large fuge with an inimicus didactylis and a stonefish...
Alright they sound pretty cool and since I have a long nose hawkfish I don't have shrimp anyway and since they only get 3" or so I do t think they could eat any of my fish so maybe I'll get one, since it's venomous my sixline might not bother it too as an added bonus
