Waste Container

Hi,
I recently addded a MRC-1 waste container to my MR2 skimmer. At first it seemed to work alright. After a week or so I started to notice the level in my skimmer dropping. I tried ajusting the valve to increase the water level but was not able to get it dialed in. In addition I started to hear a lot more air noise and noticed that the beckeet injector was bubbling inside. I decided that the waste container was producing back pressure even thought it was totally empty. When I removed the container the level went up and it seems fine now. Is somethiong wrong with the waste container?

Is the ping pong ball up or down? Needs to be down.

If its down then check the tube for a clog but I suspect the ping pong ball.

Clean the beckett. If its bubbling then its really clogged up. You have to keep them clean for the skimmer to work good.

I agree with tkeracer619, check the ball. It has nothing to do with your beckett, it is all from the waste container... this has been my exp in the past.
