Watchman goby and pistol shrimp

Bought as a pair. Just acclimated and they went their separate ways. If you have the combo, how long did it take for them to find eachother(reunited song playing, lol!)?

My Yasha goby pair and the pair of pistol shrimp I got for them were together the next morning.

My Stonogobiops nematodes pair was a bit of a different story as I put 16 pistol shrimp into the tank I moved them to... each goby picked a different shrimp...

Ok I guess I'll give it some time. Also the watchman goby is turning kind of pale now. He was perfectly yellow in the bag from the lfs.

I bought a gray Watchman Goby from my LFS because I thought it was a different species than the Yellow Watchman that are common everywhere. I kinda liked the gray look, plus I try to pick out fish that aren't commonly seen all the time.

Over the next two to three weeks, its gray color slowly changed to yellow. By the end, it looked like any other Yellow Watchman Goby. I found out on this site that Yellows can turn gray sometimes and often turn back. Go Figure.

I think the gray is kind of an "extended" stress coloration. I think if the Goby is happy it should turn back to full yellow, but not completely sure.
