Watchman Goby and True Perc formed special bond..

My Yellow Watchman Goby has definitely formed a bond with my True Percula:

They hang out all day in the same cave and even sleep right on each other its insanely awesome.

very nice, 4-5 years ago I tried to introduce a small yellow watchmen goby to my aquarium and my large female black ocellaris dragged the poor goby to my haddoni anemone.

FWIW it looks like your clown is an ocellaris

Wow thats crazy!! I thought he lacked the black color? I bought him awhile ago, i ordered a True Perc, hmmm maybe they sent me wrong fish..

I have had this happen in my first tank. A single perc clown and a yellow watchman. They were the best of buds until my clown jumped.

Just make sure it is not a black widow type relationship, waiting for the anemone to come in to take it up for a 'vist'... LOL

I had the same thing happen a few years ago. In fact, I thought it was so unusual that it has been my avatar for years. I guess it's not that strange after all.

There was a clown and a wrasse that were like that at the petco near me. The clown looked like it was always trying to crush the wrasse into the sand but after awhile of watching you could tell it was just snuggling it like a 'nem.

No, it was from a tank about 6 years ago. Now that I know that it is not that unusual, I think maybe I'll try it again. I'm just in the process of restocking my 140G after a velvet outbreak. The lone survivors were a bonded pair of flame hawkfish.
