Water Change - after livestock add

Added fish Saturday is it too soon for a little more than a 10% water change?

I wanted to squeeze 1 extra from my standard weekly, but not sure if it is worth risk or just wait until next Saturday

1 extra what?
extra 4-5 gallon water change for a 36 gallon tank

doing it atleast once a week- want to squeeze and extra one in- last I looked I was 330cal and .25 PO4. I know bigger changes are better for PO4, but I am more comfortable with more frequent smaller changes bc I am able to get 4 gallons to match display better than a bigger change. I am thinking ultimately I will have to figure out something for cal if it stays a little low.

Probably a little over zealous but still honey mooning with tank so figure why not

I take it you added the fish after the tank cycled? If so, a small water Change won't hurt. Matter of fact I would recommend it. I do mine on a weekly basis. Also i don't have a skimmer so I like to clean the tank often. Corals and fish are all doing awesome and growing.

yep been cycled for awhile - Thanks for info

Be careful not to suck up a smaller fish in your python. IT's easy to do.

Will do
