Water change pump for long distance

Im looking for a pump to do water changes and to fill my ATO tank. The problem is the pump will have to pump about 10-12ft vertical and about 35-40ft horizontal. I would prefer a submersible pump because don't want to have to cut a hole in my brute cans and install a uniseal. Here are two that I have been looking at. Curious if anyone does anything similar and what they are using.

This one looks like a good bet but I would need two of them and they are not cheap

This may be the one I end up trying is I don't come up with anything else. The part that sucks about this one is the shipping cost more than the pump.

Since you don't indicate how fast you want to change the water, might I suggest a dual head Stenner pump. They are peristaltic pumps but designed to be run at longer intervals for industrial chemical transfer applications. They have models that can pump upwards of 150GPD and have enough pressure to transfer water around the block. While they aren't quiet, they are damn near bullet proof. If you don't want to remove water while adding new water, then a single head Stenner would do quite well.
While not submersible, they can be wall mounted, are self priming and have a 3 head roller design that won't siphon. The use 1/4" tubing like that used on RODI filters which makes routing the lines easy. I use a 90GPD Stenner for my ATO.

I would like to pump about 40 gallons in under 10 minuets or so. That would make the stenner pump less than ideal for me.

I have used a MAG 12 and a MAG 24 pump to bring my water change up from the basement 1 floor to the tank. The 12 was adequate, but the 24 really does a nice job (speed)

I'm in the industrial pump business and usually the water and waste water guys will use positive displacement, diaphragm and/or peristaltic pumps for pumping periodically over long distances. However, none of these are cheap options.

There are plenty of reefers pumping from their basement at similar heads. All you need is a good pump rated for head pressure such as the mags or Eheims as already mentioned. If you really wanted to push a lot of flow, go with external Little Giant or Iwaki pumps that are rated for head pressure. These have bigger inlets than outlets and specially designed impellers.

I use a mag18 to get the water from my basement to the DT in the living room, so up about 14' to get to the sump, and a run of about 30'. When this one dies, I'll replace it with a mag24 just because it could be a bit faster. Not that it's not adequate, but faster would be better.

Farm 'n' Fleet has the Wayne Pump PC2 for $60. Exactly your specs. A little loud, but you know it's on at least. I have one and like it.

It looks like the mag 24 is going to be my best bet. A little more money than I would like to spend especially because I need 2 of them. I have been using a used mag 9 for over 9 years on my current tank so at least I know there reliable pumps.

Thanks for the input!
