Water Evaporation

How many gallons do you lose a day? I am trying to figure out what size container I need to hold RO water for top off. Please list size of tank and lighting system.

Tank 480 plus sump. I would estimate 540G of water. Dual 400W MH. I loose about 5 gallons a week.

How many hours does your MH stay on? 5 gallons is pretty low for water evaporation.

I have a 385gal system with 3-400watt MH and 1-250watt MH that run for 8 hours and I loose about 2 gallons a day
