water flow

just added 2 tunzi pumps and fish are tripping, can i have to much flow 135 tank with 6060 pumps, thanks

I don't think thats too much flow at all. I had one 6060 in my 75 and it was only 1/2 or 1/3 of the flow I needed. I never had a problem with my fish getting blown around in my 75 with one 6060 and one 6025. What kind of corals do you plan on keeping if any?

im gonna go with every different type of corals to acheive the look of some of the tanks ive seen in this web site, still learning, metal halides will be in next week(cant wait) but i am taking it slow, thanx for the reply, troy

Two 6060s will be fine. The tank is 6 feet long, right?

Sounds like a good amount of flow.

I have a SEIO 2600 in my 75 as well as returnflow on a SCWD. I would add more but the tank is not long enough and I get sandstorms where the waterflow hits walls.

yea, 6 feet, my clown fish are getting blown around but im sure they will find places with less curent, thanks

They'll learn to stay away from it. My chromis always schooled in the middle of the tank and never got blown around that much after awhile.
