water for octo

i know everyone out there doesn't have the luxury of having a ro/di unit for your octo so what do you use? i found water at albertson grocery strore that has been treated with (carbon filtration, uv sterilization, reverse osmosis, distillation, micro filtration, ozonation.) do you think that is ok for my octo since i dont have money for a unit??????:eek2:

It depends on what filtration you have on your tank. If that water really has gone though all those processes it should be fine. You can also get RO/DI water from pet stores.

I use treated tap water. Never had a problem.

I have a nice little Bimac from Fishsupply.com. Have had him now since April.

Best thing I ever did was get into Octos.
