Water Not Raising in Tunze 9006

I have the air value open 6 turns and the water set to the blue line on the skimmer and it still doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. The water in the chamber is just sits still with no bubbles at all or any movement. This is really frustrating I can't figure out the problem maybe I just have a faulty skimmer?

You have no bubbles, so either the venturi is broken or the air hose is not connected to the venturi. When you received the skimmer did you open the bottom cover and check the pump? It is very common for the airhose to have come loose in shipping and it just needs to be plugged into the venturi nozzle on the pump.

Yes I took the whole thing apart and put it back together and made sure everything fit snug. How would I know if the venturi is broken?
