I was dissapointed to find one of my clowns missing this morning. I thought it was a mantis shrimp as I lost a clown a week ago, but I beleive it did the leap of faith and a rat may have nabbed it.

This arvo I went to clean the pump intakes as they needed doing, and the poor little clown was pinned against the grating in the intake :( poor thing.

The two were just pairing, it mustve gotten sucked in while asleep, as they slept directly under it last night.

I have one left, but it looks very lonely now. Should I add another one now? or wait? the clown looks a little lost without a friend to play with.

I am going to buy some fully grated intake valves.. I dont want this happening again.

very stange, I had 2 clowns in my little tank and had to pull one for treatment. The little one left behind must have changed sleeping arrangements because he was stuck to the ph intake in the morning. Too bad too he was a great looking ocellaris.

this is very wierd. I lost my picasso this morning. He jumped out of an area about 2 in. x 3 in.

look at the date. HMM

i used to have 2 ocalrius clowns, and i got lazy after cleaning the filter tube. and i diddnt put the bottom part to stop big things from going in. In the morning i was freaked out, where did they go? i was thinking to my self let me put the cap back on the filter tube just in case they show up, so when i pulled out the tube the clowns fell out, they must have had a strong bond, 1 must of gotten sucked up, and the other followed to try to help.

- this was like 1 year ago- sorry

hes only a juvi, so it shouldnt be a problem.

Hope this wont happen again >_< I feel sorry for the poor victim, horrible way to die :(

very odd coincidence of clown deaths on the 6/6/06 .. hmmmm
