Water storage

So I've been trying to find some water storage containers for my rodi and mixing station. Found some nice containers online, but they want more for shipping than the cost of the container... Looking for 100+ gallons per container.

Decided to check out craigslist and found these: http://evansville.craigslist.org/grd/5116572396.html

Do you think they will be fine for rodi and saltwater?

Those may work depending on what food grade product was stored in them. If you have a Rural King or a Tractor Supply you may want to check them out as well

I contacted the seller, they were used to hold vitamin E. One time only. Should I have any concerns with the vitamin E or the material the container is built out of?

Well I will tell you this I paid 50 for 55gallon drums that is a steal for that price I wouldn't worry too must about the vitamin e but I'm no expert I would power wash it and soak it and see if it leaches if no your good to go if it does flip it too someone esle

Yeah I'm using Brute cans now for my 125gallon tank, but I've got a new 300g on the way so I'm looking for something larger to store water. I was looking in the 100-150g range, but the price to get one shipped is ludicrous. The price on these is great, though they are a little larger than I was looking for.

Those will NOT Fit thru a standard home door.. If you storing them in the garage they will work.... There is also a guy in Evansville.(maybe same one )That is selling 55 gal barrels for 10.00 -20.00 I would buy 3 55 gal barrels instead.. That is way Bunch of water .....

You Really do not wanna keep that much saltwater do you?

Well I was thinking of keeping 50-100g made up at a time for an auto water change system. I'd like to have about 1 months supply at least, changing out 2-3 gallons a day is 60-90 gallons over a month.

And yeah I wasn't planning on going through a door. I have a cubby in the garage that will fit them nicely.
