Waterloo Area April Meeting/Tank Tour

I can have the wife whip up a pasta salad & I could grab a few cases of pop & chips. What is the alternative plan if it is cold & rainy?

I have a HUGE george forman grill so we could still do burgers and brats.

If anyone wants brats you'll just have to let me know so I can get them thawed out ahead of time.
 
Ya, but do you still want 50 people running around inside your house? Also are we planning on us only for the grill, or bring my 18 kids along?

My kids will be here when we get here but I don't think they're coming with me for the tour. I guess that's up to everyone else. If it's nice outside I have a big yard they can run around in. If it's crappy I don't know. We could always lock them in the shed I guess. :D

I'm sure we'll be fine either way. I'm not too worried about it.

So its gonna be Jasons, Lees, then Duke 13 if he want's in, waverz, LoriM, Gnome, UNI tank, xroads, got2lb. Its gonna be one hell of a convoy!

Man this is gonna be sooo much fun, hope everyone has beer!
 
can I get a head count on how many people are attending so I get figure out how many packs of meat to set out....thanks Jason
 
I'll probably be the only one on the tour but it will be 4 of us at my house.

Also if anyone wants brats instead let me know and I can pull some of them out. I'm more of a burger guy myself! :D
 
LOL I've got plenty.....so what is everyone bringing? Lets try and make sure we have everything we need....it will save the dd's from running to the store
 
We can bring chips and dip, im sure my mom will bring one of her famous concoctions. And i suppose it should be a BYOB party, but im sure i will have some extras so no one has to go thirsty.

Well Emporium donated a $25 dollar gift card for the tour, I'm not sure how you guys want to do this but I think that if everyone who can could donate a small frag we could have a small raffle and donate the money to the club. I have a pretty nice superman danae that I will donate along with some other things as long as we can get enough people interested in the raffle....just let me know what you guys think and we'll go from there....thanks Jason
 
I can donate a few frags. Some zoos, green frilly shroom, green clove polyps, maybe some other things I'll have to look.

Maybe make up some raffle cards on the computer. $5 a piece and start pulling them out of the hat. Everything donated to the club works for me.

Just let me know what you want me to grab. I can also grab some pop, or i can make up some Lemonade or something.

How is emporium since they moved? Have they gotten any good shipments of SW stuff in yet?
 
I guess it depends on how many people come along. If there is just a few of us I would say save the Gift Cert for the next event. If we have a crowd, including non members, do a raffle. Has anyone besides us few shown any interest?

Melissa and I are coming up. Probably bring dessert bars or cookies. depends on how energetic Melissa gets. Let me look what I have as for frags to see what and if I can get anything.
