Waterloo Area December Meeting

I know it would be messy, that's why I figured Jeremy's garage would be a good place for it! What's tricky about it I've read up on it a little, the biggest thing I've read is to make sure the "fresh" fish is actually fresh and hasn't had anything added to it for preservatives and stuff.

Well what I've found over the past few years is that if you don't make it right you tend to slam your tank with nutrients everytime you feed.....the last batch I made I changed one thing different with the batch and everytime I fed, my skimmer would produce so many bubbles that it would lift the lid off the collection cup. Everyone makes it sound easy but you can do alot of harm if you don't do it right......I do have a few extra pack of cyclopeeze and a blender if you really wanna do it

Hmmmm Well I guess you would know better than me seeing as you've made it before. It's up to you if you want to try I was just throwing it out there to see if anyone was interested. I'd probably take one of those packs of cyclpeeze off your hands though. I've been wanting to get some but didn't want to pay overnight shipping for frozen food.

Maybe instead of making some we'll have to get a group order together for some Rods Food!

Just so everyone knows i have to leave Saturday at 6pm so we cant party all nite. I got a stupid work xmas party to goto....atleast its free food.

I would say the easiest way to get here is to take the river forest rd exit off of 20 follow river forest road until you come to a T. Take a right on Layfayette, go down past The Other Place take a right on Lawrence Ave., then go down about 2 blocks and my house is on the right with the big green garage.

Also today is the last day im taking orders for the maxi mods. Im planning on ordering tommorow morning.

Heres the list:

Myself: 2- 1200 high flow kits
Matt: 900 medium flow kit
Lee: 1200 high flow
Ray: 2-1200 high flow

MJ Mods ordered, cept now all of a sudden some dude came up with a cheaper mod.

wohh.. that one looks easy as eating cake. I wonder what the GPH is on it. I wonder if that hobby store you were talking about in CF has the props. Might be worth calling them for.

Needs a fish guard or it is going to be a blender. That tank is neat he is the guy the runs those SunTube skylights instead of MH.

You could probably just put some gutter guard on the front of it and you'd be set.

Instead of cutting out all of the pieces I would just notch them if you know what I mean. I bet it doesn't push as much as the mjmod.com ones though.
