watermelon lobo dying

i have a watermelon lobo that is dying has two lobes the smaller one is doing fine the bigger one seems to be dying the tissue is falling off and the skeleton is showing water levels seem to be fine any ideas on what to do?

I believe I recall you having a long nose butterfly in the tank, i'd keep an eye on him he could be your culprit

Long nose Butterflies would do it. Blue Hippos also love to munch on open brain corals.

all my fish are in a qt, so it wasn't any of my fish all my water parameter are great. i did a coral dip. there are two lobes the big one is completely gone down to the skeleton, the small one seems to be coming back will it spread and fill the big skeleton back in?
