watt per liter how much is recomended?

The whole watt per liter and gallon rule is not correct at all only because 100 watts of pc light is way differen't then 100 watts of mh.

63l i plan to have enough light for some of the most demanding corals:)

Actually im new and just want to have the best eccuipment, i want to do it good from the start if you now what i mean? i want to "velge og vrake"

MH is absolutely the best. PC was designed to be a cooler light source. PCs will work, and there's nothing wrong with them, but I prefer the peace of mind and soul knowing I'm providing the best source of lighting for my reef. Plus I also like the shimmer affect that PCs can not produce in my tank.

how would 6*18w do in that 63liter? could it host some light demanding corals?
and what about 2*15w in a 19 liter?

You might look into T5HO lighting as well... it's much more efficient and delivers more lumens per watt than PC, from what I've read.

MH really does look better. I had 490 watts of PC lighting on my 46 but since went to 2 * 150 watt MH and 2 * 96 watt pc actinic on my 90 and the light is no comparison to the plain pc lighting. Much better.

Regards.

the problem is that ive already got the reactors and the tubes.

would the same wattage in t8 suffice better?
