Wave Box and drilled tank

rvitko,

I need a bit of advise with regards a wave box and a back glass drilled tank.
There are some holes drilled on the back pane at the top (approx 2 inches below the top of the water line) with one outlet and two returns. There is no overflow box surrounding the outlet/returns. Would this be a problem using a wave box.
If it's OK, where would I place the wave box, ie, where the holes are drilled or on the opposite back corner.

Cheers

The wavebox has to go on a side- aimed down the longest section of the tank. I have no experience with this sort of set up but outside of some noise issues you might have I don't see any reason for it to not work. It may also be necessary to ge the plumbing such that their is a stand pipe that goes up. Imagine a T coming off the back and one pipe goes up above the tank height and that is just for letting air in and out with the surges and the other end of the T goes down to drain the water.
